The Wonder of His Love

It isn't even Thanksgiving yet and I already am feeling the spirit of Christmas starting to stir inside of my heart. Precious family and dear friends all around me are the reason for this early Christmas joy beginning to sprout in my heart.

Some years Christmas just doesn't quite make it to my spirit, but goes on around me. Oh, I go through all of the motions, alright, but inside it's just another gathering, just another day, just another meal, just some gifts. Isn't that sad. I wonder how many people feel that way? I know many who absolutely hate the holidays. How very sad.

I'm not sure why this year in particular that I feel this early Christmas cheer. Maybe it's because of all of the turmoil in our world with wars, stock market going crazy, uncertain futures for many and so forth. With all of that craziness, in the very midst of it there is this peace that can only come from the Lord Himself. He whispers to my heart, "Be still and know that I am God"......and I am still, and I give thanks, and I praise Him for His enduring love. That, my friends, is Christmas. That's why "Christmas" is stirring in my heart. His love, His promise to guide and protect. His comfort every present.

I praise Him and thank Him. Amen.

Products compared

If you're into weight lifting or body building this article will be of interest to you.
At www.consumerpricewatch.net Hydroxycut hardcore you'll find out what these products contain, and how they work. You'll also find their top ten weight loss aids reviewed and why they consider their choices the better bargain.

I feel strongly that we can't research enough the over the counter products we use. Information is our best tool and with it we can't go wrong. "Be informed" is my slogan. I feel that the same applies to medications that doctor's prescribe. Read the fliers that come with drugs. Know the side effects.

Information!! It's our most effective weapon no matter what!

Christmas gifts for hard to buy for people

We all have people on our Christmas list like this. They either have everything or what the would want, is out of our price range.

T-shirts are big these days. Especially those that express our senses of humor or support our favorite team. There is a great site where you can buy funny t shirts just the right t-shirt for whatever person you need to buy for.

At www.roadkilltshirts.com you'll find that special something for that hard to buy for person on your list. I'd be willing to bet that you'll be ordering a t-shirt or two for yourself as well.

Finding the right lawyer

Our son-in-law bought a motorcycle a few months ago. He's a very cautious man who knows what he's doing and doesn't take any unnecessary chances.

Nevertheless, he had a little accident and the car involved was trying to blame him for everything. Well, my son-in-law was smart enough to know that he needed a special lawyer. He needed to find motorcycle accident attorneys. He did some research and found www.michaelpadway.com. This firm specializes in motorcycle accidents. They know motorcycles and they know what they can do and what they can't do.

I feel better knowing that Brian's case is in good hands. He deserves the best.

President Elect Obama and His Family

I am in absolute awe of our soon to be first family. Having raised three children myself I recognize in the Obamas just how important their children are to them. What an awesome experience for those two little girls, growing up in the White House.

I wonder if they really get it. If they really understand how huge this is. Maybe having their father become a senator has already prepared them somewhat for being in the public eye.

I pray for this family, for their safety and that the Lord will guide them in all of their decisions.

We're all watching and this Republican is full of hope that that Democrat soon to be our president will bring about badly needed change.

Need help losing weight?

If you're dieting, and who isn't I might add, you may want to take a look at this site that I found. It's www.pricesexposed.com is the site, and they list and review OTC diet pills. I really like to get as much information as I can when I'm looking for a product I will ingest.

Not only do they review the weight loss aid, but they compare prices so you can decide which best suits your health needs and your pocket book too.

There are a lot of products out there. As always, I strongly urge you to read the labels, research, research, research, and ask your doctor before beginning any new program. For research purposes and price comparison, www.pricesexposed is a great place to begin.

Good luck.

Changing jobs? Live in Texas?

I know a lot of folks are doing just that, looking for a better job that pays more money. Maybe you're out of work altogether.

If any of these scenarios are true for you, might I suggest a great website where you can search for Dallas jobs online. Dallas, as everyone knows is a huge city with a lot to offer. On this site you can post your resume and have it seen by employers who are looking for people just like you with the skills you have.

This site is a very "now" concept. In my day we had to pound the pavement going from one employment agency to another. This makes so much more sense.

Oh, and you can also search for jobs in your area of expertise as well. Now that's convenient.

Good luck in your search.

Just what we needed

I found a great site the other day while surfing, www.rentalo.com. They offer vacation rentals anywhere and everywhere. You name a country or a place that you want to go and they offer rentals there for vacationers.

When we're traveling here in the USA, we take our RV as a rule. However, we hope to do more traveling overseas, so this is one site I intend to bookmark for future reference. Next year we will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and I intend to surprise my husband with some wonderful trip that he wouldn't even dream of going on himself.

I'm going to check and see if I can't book it a year in advance and pay it a little at a time so that the trip will be paid off when we're ready to go. I'm getting excited about it already. =)

Saving money! We all love that.

2008 Black Friday is upon us. What is Black Friday you ask? Traditionally it is the Friday after Thanksgiving which is when retailers offer their best sales hoping to draw buyers into their stores. It's a great day for us shoppers, because we can save a lot of money by doing our Christmas shopping early beginning with that Friday after Thanksgiving.

Black Friday is also known as the busiest shopping day of the year and one of the days with heaviest traffic on the roads as well. I guess that figures. Those two things go hand in hand.

Because I love shopping online I am always on the look out for sites that offer those same great savings and some even offer free shipping. Ritzcamera.com is offering some great deals and are not charging sales tax. I am going to get my shopping done early this year. =) How about you. We don't want to miss those great deals.

Sarah Palin, What's next?

I have a sneaking suspicion that we haven't heard that last of Sarah Palin. I do believe that she has captured the hearts of many and the interest of most people.

I think the thing that I like about her is that she appears to be just who she is, with no facade, no games and no agenda. She says what she wants and means it completely.

I understand that the Republican party is already sending people up to Alaska to groom her for more. I hope they don't "groom" that charm out of her.

We shall see.

The latest thing..

Media centers are the hottest thing in home improvement projects. The reasons for this are as varied as the people who are adding them to their home.

For me, to have one room that is designed with enjoying media in mind is as good as it gets for home entertainment. To have your music, television etc all in one room for your family or when you entertain just can't get any better.

What I would envision for a media center would be first off home theater seating. These are amazing, comfortable and made with comfort and convenience in mind. Most have places for your drinks, they recline, and are made of fabrics that can take the wear and tear that this room must be able to take.

If you're adding a media room to your home, I strongly suggest you check out www.treomodern.com for a great selection in all media room needs. Enjoy!
